Purified water is made with reverse osmosis. Purified Food grade water is purer than distilled water, 1 microSiemens (uS) value. If distilled water is sufficient (good enough for an autoclave) we recommend that you make the water yourself. Purified water is at least 2 times cleaner than distilled water which usually holds 2.1-3 us, twice as clean as double distilled water which typically holds 1.9 uS. NOTE: microSiemens, not milliSiemens. This water is infinitely much cleaner than regular drinking water – normally 30 microSiemens (uS) value.
