Specially made yeast for rum production which can handle high osmotic pressure from molasses. Can ferment to higher strength than ordinary yeast.

Molasses has a large amount of non-fermentable sugars that create an enormous osmotic pressure at fermentation. Molasses is the most difficult substance to ferment at all and often reaches only 7% alcohol.
This yeast reaches much higher, typically 11% and ensure a full fermentation.
