This Turbo easily ferments 25 litre with sugar content 8 kg, to 18% alcohol by volume (ABV).
This is a fantastic yeast but it is not temperature tolerant. Fermentation over 25 litre or fermentations in air temperature above 25C can overheat and kill the yeast before fermentation is complete.
Prestige Turbo yeast 8 kg is outstanding in extracting taste from fruits. This is the yeast used in Bettina Malles and Helge Schmickls Artisan distilling School and in the instructions and recipes in their book; The Artisans Guide to Crafting Distilled Spirits.
The overheating problem is solved by use 1 sachet for 100 litre and split sugar in 3 parts, sugar slow sugar feeding. For larger batches in distilleries with temperature control.
